Toolkit, API, and Adoptable Search
8/9/2016 - we are aware of an issue with adoptable pet search that is affecting the Pet Adoption Toolkit and API queries. Some or all pets for some organization may be affected. We are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue and we will update this Status page when the issue has been resolved.
We believe this issue was resolved on or around 8/10/2016. Please let us know immediately if you notice any issues with your public pet list.
Pet Adoption Portal
The following applies when Internet Explorer 10 & 11 users are using the Portal website, and not their Manage account:
Some Internet Explorer 10 & 11 users are having trouble staying logged in after our update on 11/27/13. The issue seems to be related to web browser security settings.
The best resolution to the issue is to reset your security settings to their default. You can do that by going to Tools > Internet Options, then on the Security tab, click Reset all zones to default level.

Website Service
The following applies only when you are editing a web page from your organization's website, and not your Manage account:
For the Web Page Editor to completely work in Internet Explorer 11, you need to add the website to your browser's Compatibility View. You can do that by clicking Tools > Compatibility View Settings. Then make sure that "rescuegroups.org" is in the box and click Add.
We're working to resolve this issue so that the Editor works in IE11 without using compatibility view.
FTP-based Export to Petfinder
The following does not affect accounts that are using the Sync App.
Petfinder FTP uploads have experienced the following issues for well over a year. When we inquire about the issues, we are referring to the following information from their "help" web page:
- Some imported photos not appearing on pet listings. PBT-582 (originally posted by Petfinder January 18, 2013 at 10:52am ET)
- Pet descriptions not updating for some import users. PBT-638 (originally posted by Petfinder December 8, 2013)
We do not have any estimated resolution to these issues, and we are not expecting that Petfinder will ever fix these issues. Please contact us for some tips and help for working around this issue on a per-pet basis.
Test Environment
We are not aware of any issues with the test environment.
