RescueGroups Roles
|
RescueGroups' Security features allow you to grant restricted access to your
website to other members of your organization.
When your website is created, one person will be given "Site Admin" permissions, or permission to make any changes to the site. That person can then grant permission to other volunteers. For example, one of your volunteers may need to add new animals, but does not need to add animal Journal entries or add new News items. You can give that user only the permissions he or she needs to do their job. Permissions can also be revoked at any time. Any changes you make, either adding or revoking permissions, take effect immediately. Visitors to your web site do not have permission to make changes to your site. After they register, you can grant them permission if they are one of your volunteers. To the right you will find a partial list of the roles that are available to assign. "User" roles typically are read-only permissions, while "Admin" roles have full read/write permission. «« Back to Service Information |
