Free and Low-cost Website and Data Management Services for Animal Rescues and Shelters

RescueGroups.org provides free and low-cost technology services (like rescue and shelter data management, websites, voice mail, domains and email services) to the animal welfare community. We also provide free access to our database of adoptable pets to like-minded developers and webmasters via our API and iFrame services.

New SOAP API in BETA Test

Integrating an adoptable pet data API isn't just about numbers.  It's about the quality, support, flexibility and functionality of the API.  RescueGroups.org has released a SOAP API for public use that will grow into a platform API for the animal welfare community.  RescueGroups.org provides the only community supported, non-profit API.  Join our API mailing list by contacting us.  Read more on the SOAP API blog post.

Service Grants Now Available

RescueGroups.org is now providing grants for most of our services, thanks to the commitment by DogTime.  Please visit the Grant page for more information about the grants.  Nearly 100 organizations have already received a grant directly from DogTime or through the RescueGroups.org grant program, and you can see a full list on the Grant Recipients page.

Want to Adopt or Give-up a Pet?

RescueGroups.org does not provide placement or adoption services directly to the public. We recommend that you contact a local animal rescue or shelter organization in your area if you would like to adopt a pet or give-up your pet, and you can find a local organization by searching one of the reputable adoption listing websites: Adopt-a-Pet.com, Pets911.com, DogTime.com, or Petbond.com.
